After a bachelor’s degree in psychology, in 2002, Stephane Langlois completed a D.E.C in sculpture at the Maison des métiers d’art in Quebec City. In 2007, he created his first work of public art for the library of the Collège-des-Jésuites in Québec City. Working with wood and metal, Stephane Langlois participated in several symposiums, contests, jury and his work has been seen in several solo and collective exhibitions. Rewarded many times by SODEC and CALQ, he continues his formal and technic research in sculpture. His works of art are part of several private and public collections, including; The Loto-Québec Collection, Musée de la civilisation in Québec City, mcr de Portneuf, Musée des maîtres et artisans du Québec… Originally from Saint-Marc-des-Carrières in 1969, Stéphane Langlois now lives and works in Neuville near Quebec City.
